Go To The Antדוגמה
Rest Is A Tool.
“Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:” Proverbs 6:10 KJV
Harvest requires work. When you are pursuing everything that God has for you, obedience, diligence and discipline are key ingredients to your success. There’s a difference between being busy and purposefully executing.
As you strategically work towards accomplishing your God-given assignment, take time to rest. Rest is strategic. Rest is needed. Rest is purposeful. Rest is a choice. Choose to strategically rest after you’ve accomplished a major goal or crossed a significant milestone.
Use these resting periods as moments to celebrate your wins and to reflect upon the lessons you’ve learned. Use resting periods as a strategy to refresh, reflect and reboot. Don’t abuse rest. When you abuse these periods by either not resting enough or resting too long, you begin to stagger at pursuing the promises of God and you begin to shift out of His timing. His timing is strategic.
Remember, you’re running a marathon and you’re not rushing into a sprint. Train your body, your skillset and work ethic to execute in sync with what God is saying. Let God lead your path. Stay in tune with what God is saying. Submit to His Purpose and to His timing for your life.
Take time to pause, reflect and strategically reset. Don’t rush God’s timing... His timing is perfect. “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all that He has done.” Philippians 4:6 NLT
