Psalms 26:7-12
Psalms 26:7-12 King James Version (KJV)
That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, And tell of all thy wondrous works. LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, And the place where thine honour dwelleth. Gather not my soul with sinners, Nor my life with bloody men: In whose hands is mischief, And their right hand is full of bribes. But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: Redeem me, and be merciful unto me. My foot standeth in an even place: In the congregations will I bless the LORD.
Psalms 26:6-12 The Message (MSG)
I scrub my hands with purest soap, then join hands with the others in the great circle, dancing around your altar, GOD, Singing God-songs at the top of my lungs, telling God-stories. GOD, I love living with you; your house glows with your glory. When it’s time for spring cleaning, don’t sweep me out with the quacks and crooks, Men with bags of dirty tricks, women with purses stuffed with bribe-money. You know I’ve been aboveboard with you; now be aboveboard with me. I’m on the level with you, GOD; I bless you every chance I get.
Psalms 26:7-12 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving And declare all Your wonders. O LORD, I love the habitation of Your house And the place where Your glory dwells. Do not take my soul away along with sinners, Nor my life with men of bloodshed, In whose hands is a wicked scheme, And whose right hand is full of bribes. But as for me, I shall walk in my integrity; Redeem me, and be gracious to me. My foot stands on a level place; In the congregations I shall bless the LORD.
Psalms 26:7-12 New Century Version (NCV)
I raise my voice in praise and tell of all the miracles you have done. LORD, I love the Temple where you live, where your glory is. Do not kill me with those sinners or take my life with those murderers. Evil is in their hands, and they do wrong for money. But I have lived an innocent life, so save me and have mercy on me. I stand in a safe place. LORD, I praise you in the great meeting.
Psalms 26:7-12 American Standard Version (ASV)
That I may make the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, And tell of all thy wondrous works. Jehovah, I love the habitation of thy house, And the place where thy glory dwelleth. Gather not my soul with sinners, Nor my life with men of blood; In whose hands is wickedness, And their right hand is full of bribes. But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: Redeem me, and be merciful unto me. My foot standeth in an even place: In the congregations will I bless Jehovah.
Psalms 26:7-12 New International Version (NIV)
proclaiming aloud your praise and telling of all your wonderful deeds. LORD, I love the house where you live, the place where your glory dwells. Do not take away my soul along with sinners, my life with those who are bloodthirsty, in whose hands are wicked schemes, whose right hands are full of bribes. I lead a blameless life; deliver me and be merciful to me. My feet stand on level ground; in the great congregation I will praise the LORD.
Psalms 26:7-12 New King James Version (NKJV)
That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, And tell of all Your wondrous works. LORD, I have loved the habitation of Your house, And the place where Your glory dwells. Do not gather my soul with sinners, Nor my life with bloodthirsty men, In whose hands is a sinister scheme, And whose right hand is full of bribes. But as for me, I will walk in my integrity; Redeem me and be merciful to me. My foot stands in an even place; In the congregations I will bless the LORD.

Psalms 26:7-12 New Living Translation (NLT)
singing a song of thanksgiving and telling of all your wonders. I love your sanctuary, LORD, the place where your glorious presence dwells. Don’t let me suffer the fate of sinners. Don’t condemn me along with murderers. Their hands are dirty with evil schemes, and they constantly take bribes. But I am not like that; I live with integrity. So redeem me and show me mercy. Now I stand on solid ground, and I will publicly praise the LORD.
Psalms 26:6-12 The Passion Translation (TPT)
When I come to your altar, YAHWEH, I’ll be clean before you, approaching with songs of thanksgiving, singing songs of your mighty miracles. YAHWEH, I love to live in your house, this dwelling place of dazzling glory! Don’t treat me as one of these scheming sinners who plot violence against the innocent. Look how they devise their wicked plans; their hands are always ready to receive a bribe. I’m not like them, Lord—not at all. Save me, redeem me with your mercy, for I have chosen to walk only in what is right. Among the worshipers I will praise YAHWEH, for I am safe and secure because of you!
Psalms 26:7-12 English Standard Version 2016 (ESV)
proclaiming thanksgiving aloud, and telling all your wondrous deeds. O LORD, I love the habitation of your house and the place where your glory dwells. Do not sweep my soul away with sinners, nor my life with bloodthirsty men, in whose hands are evil devices, and whose right hands are full of bribes. But as for me, I shall walk in my integrity; redeem me, and be gracious to me. My foot stands on level ground; in the great assembly I will bless the LORD.
