Teaching Point:

1. God is committed to HIS Word only as it is alive in you. He is not committed to our requests unless it's aligned with HIS Word.

John 15:7 KJV
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

2. Our answer/blessing is always in our obedience, not always in the miracle that we seek.

1 Samuel 15:22 KJV
And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice...


Foundation Scripture:

1. We are responsible for praying God's Word. Revelation should provoke action, action provokes answers, answers, provoke a blessed life not necessarily an easy life.

Colossians 1:9-12 NLT:
So, I won't stop praying, God, give me complete knowledge of Your will and spiritual wisdom and understanding. [10] Then may the way I live always honor and please, You, Lord, and may my life produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, I will grow as I learn to know You, God, better and better. [11] I also pray that I will be strengthened with all Holy Spirit's glorious power so that I may have all the endurance and patience I need. Introduction:

Steward- (oikonomos) a house distributor (that is, manager), or overseer, that is, an employee in that capacity.

Stewardship- (oikonomia) administration (of a household or estate); account or accounting, audit.

Tithing - Giving 10% of one’s income or resources as an act of worship and obedience to God.

Tithing is a Biblical principle that honors God, grows our faith, and supports His work. It comes with spiritual and material blessings when done with the right heart.
