NT 260: Part ThreeSample

This letter is also written by Peter. He tells his readers that in Jesus they have everything they need to live life in a godly way. They now have the power to avoid sin and to continually become godlier. He reminds them, as one who was with Jesus during His ministry, that he knows for sure Jesus performed and taught the things that have been told about Him. He also says that we can rely on Scripture (the Bible) because it was given to us by God.

We have been given all we need to live godly lives. It’s easy to use excuses like having a bad upbringing, old habits, or the devil, but we can overcome these things because of Jesus’ presence in our lives.
