Father, may your Kingdom come in my workplace and my home, may your will be done in my community and country, on earth as in heaven.

Every time we ask for God’s Kingdom to come on earth, we are confessing that our family life, workplace or neighbourhood is not fully aligned with God’s rule. We are declaring that we have a different vision of what the world should be like. This goes a long way beyond vague hope or despair about how things are – we are calling God’s reality down to our everyday existence.
