NT 260: Part OneNäide

When Jesus became a Man and walked on earth, He was temporarily lower than the angels. This is an indication of just how great He was because it shows His humility. He became human so He could experience the same things as humans and die for us. This is what made Him the perfect sacrifice.
In Christianity, humility is valued. Jesus, who is superior to everything in creation, becomes a man. He demonstrates greatness that intentionally subjugates itself to something lesser. It’s an example we are supposed to follow. Unfortunately, many “superiors” demand respect, authority, and obedience rather than humbling themselves. If you are truly humble, you will not become angry when you are insulted, ignored or someone is placed over you. Jesus is also superior at being humble!
