How to Be Unstoppable for God

DAY 4 OF 7

The words “unstoppable” and “surrender” might seem like a weird combination, contradictory even. But today, I want to show you that there is immense strength in surrender.

Yesterday, we talked about scaling walls and advancing troops, which are powerful metaphors for the battles we face. But sometimes, the key to winning a battle is not to fight but to surrender, not to your enemy, but to God! The Bible encourages us to surrender:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6

Surrendering to God does not mean defeat; it means we humble ourselves to be led by God instead of by our own desires.

“When we surrender to God, we let go of our attachment to how things happen on the outside, and we become more concerned with what happens on the inside.”
– Marianne Williamson

The most outstanding example of surrender we can find in our Lord Jesus, who, even though He was God:

“Did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage; rather, He made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!” – Philippians 2:6-8

Surrender means to trust God’s problem-solving skills over your own to acknowledge that you can’t do anything in your own strength.

“The greatness of a man’s power is the measure of his surrender.”
– William Booth

How do you know when to fight and when to surrender? Ask God! He will make His will known to you.

My friend, pray that God will show you if there are any areas in your life where He wants you to surrender. Ask Him, “Lord, where do I need to surrender? What are You trying to tell me? What are You trying to teach me?”

Hey! You are a Chamatkar
