Release ideas to improve them
Will losing control over your ideas or tools damage the quality? Is this true or a myth?
Many fitness programs in the world ensure their system is strictly adhered to.
They care about the names of their founders and their system is built around one person's knowledge and experience. This person usually designs the controlling structure to ensure their fitness product doesn't lose quality. There is a fear that poor quality control will destroy the name of the brand.
The ReadySetGo fitness team went the opposite direction and made their special idea open-source. They created the first holistic fitness system that trains body, mind, and spirit in the same workout.
This unique fitness framework became an open-code system for anyone in the world to own. Fitness coaches began to apply it in parks, offices, apartments, and gyms. Some did it for 30 minutes a day, others for 45, 60, and even 90. One group proposed it for everyday life, and another for high performance in competitive sports.
In some countries, it became a curriculum for public schools and in another, a recovery program for senior citizens care facilities. Big companies hired coaches to provide the program as part of corporate health benefits for employees. Fitness enthusiasts with a technology background made it available through digital platforms.
Every time a new specialist came to the open-source table to get access to ideas and tools, they would return to the table, not to get more but to provide valuable experience feedback to make it better.
As a result, the program's quality didn't suffer from democratization, but the opposite. It became better and more widely accepted.
Scripture to ponder –
1 Corinthians 1:28-29
But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.
Key Lesson: If people love it, they will make it better and protect the quality.
