God Calls Us to Repentance - Day 9

Do you know someone who would never believe in Jesus? We justify not talking to that person about God because we feel certain it will never happen. Revelation 7 tells us otherwise. The angel shows John a great crowd of people worshipping Jesus in the throne room and says those are people who repented and turned to Jesus during the tribulation. Apparently, it will take some pretty extraordinary circumstances for those people to believe, but God is patient and will wait to the end for people to come to him.

Think back on that person you know who would “never believe.” If their life is anything like yours and mine, they probably have difficult stuff happen, even a crisis or two. God may be trying to get their attention, and he has sent you as a messenger to share his truth. Instead of talking ourselves out of it, let’s start sharing Jesus with those who need him, even if they think they don’t want him. God is patient, but the end will come.
