Lord, You are our sustenance. You are Living Water for our souls. May You be both of these things for my wife. May she long for connection with You, O God. May she search Your Word for wisdom and truth to guide her life. May she open her heart to Your leadership in her life. Where she’s depending on herself, let her depend upon You. Where her heart is filled with fear, let it be filled with faith. Where she’s experiencing confusion, bring clarity to her mind. Where she’s feeling empty, may she find fulfillment in You. Where she wants to reach for cheap comforts, like food or alcohol or any other activity or substance that will not provide what she’s looking for, show her that it is You she is actually looking for. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
