New Me, for Good!Näide
New Purpose
Walking in purpose starts with understanding who God created you to be. When we renew our minds and align our thoughts with God’s, we begin to see how our passions, talents, and dreams are part of His bigger plan. In scripture, we are reminded that everything we do—whether it’s playing sports, creating art, or helping a friend—can be done in a way that honors God and serves others (Colossians 3:23).
Walking in purpose isn’t about finding some hidden map for your life. Instead, it’s about living each day in a way that reflects God’s love and character. Think of the things you love most—your hobbies, interests, and talents. God placed those desires in your heart for a reason. When you use them to love Him and help others, you’re walking in purpose.
Think about this: God didn’t give you your gifts and passions so they’d sit on a shelf collecting dust. He gave them to you to make an impact. When you do what you love in a way that honors God, you’re walking in purpose. Your creativity, talents, and dreams become tools to show others who God is and how much He loves them.
For example:
• If you’re passionate about helping others, you could volunteer or help someone in need.
• If you’re great at making people laugh, use your humor to bring joy to someone having a bad day.
• Are you into sports? Lead your team by example—showing kindness, determination, and faith.
Walking in purpose means honoring God withevery partof your life—your time, your talents, and your heart. It’s about asking, “How can I use what I love to show love to God and people?”
And here’s the best part: as you use your passions for Him, you’ll find joy and fulfillment in ways you never expected. God’s purpose for you isn’t just about helping others—it’s also about helping you grow into the amazing person He created you to be.
Reflection Question: What’s something you’re passionate about? How can you use it to love God and help others?
Prayer: Lord, thank You for the talents, passions, and dreams You’ve placed in me. Help me to see how I can use them to honor You and serve the people around me. Show me how to walk in purpose every day, doing what I love in a way that points back to You. Amen.
