Decide to Thrive: Youth EditionNäide

The Influence Decision: Being a Light to Others
As servant leaders, we are called to be the light of the world, reflecting Christ’s love and hope in a world that often feels dark and uncertain. This calling isn’t about drawing attention to ourselves or seeking recognition, but about shining His light in such a way that others may be drawn to Him. Just as a lamp provides light in a dark room, we are meant to offer hope, peace, and love to those around us, helping them see the goodness of God in our actions and words.
Our light shines brightest when we choose to serve with humility and grace, demonstrating God’s love through our interactions and decisions. Whether it’s offering a word of encouragement, showing kindness to someone in need, or sharing the truth of God’s Word in love, we are given opportunities every day to be a reflection of Christ. This draws people toward the hope we have in Christ and invites them to experience His love for themselves.
As we shine His light, we fulfill our calling to be servant leaders, reflecting Christ’s love in a world that desperately needs it.
Reflection: How can you be a light in your workplace, home, or school today? Who can you encourage or help find hope in a difficult situation?
