Sweet Remembrance.
Have you ever randomly begun to sing that oldie but goodie throwback worship song, you know the ones from back in the day, and then all of a sudden, those words started to really minister to you, as tears rolled down your face, thinking of all the Lord has done? Recently, I found myself singing,
"I love you, I love you, I love your Lord today, because you cared for me, in such a special way, that's why I praise you, I lift you up, and I magnify your name, that's why my heart is filled with praise"
Instantly, that song stirred me and the memories begin to testify of all the ways the Lord has cared for and cares for me which led me into a beautiful moment of praise & thanksgiving!
Today, as you spend time communing with the Lord & in Psalm 18, allow Him to usher you into a sweet time of remembrance. Allow the Lord to highlight moments of how He saved, strengthened, restored, rescued, delivered, + gave you total victory!
David rejoiced and declared:
"The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted."
Psalm 18:46
What is your declaration? Think about who He is to you right now. Fill it with your words, by saying, 'let the God of my___________ be exalted'? and suddenly encounter the joy of the Lord rushing in. Hallelujah!
Prayer Prompt: What song comes to mind when you think of Psalm 18? Sing it unto the Lord!
