What are you pursuing today?

Our eternal soul is the greatest asset we have. Jesus was teaching his disciples that some people believe that by pursuing material things in this life, they will obtain great profit and security. That may be true in the eyes of this world. However, when people ignore spiritual things, they are jeopardizing their eternal souls. Jesus said what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul? If someone rejects Jesus, it does not matter at all how many things they had or how wealthy they were on this earth.
