This Psalm is the perfect way to describe how we become people who are pure in heart, with intentions to love God and the people around us. It is when we shift our eyes from what is in front of us — from the incredible giftings in our possession or the intense trials we’re facing — and instead remind ourselves that God is the one who heals, forgives, redeems, and satisfies us. In humility, we see to him, and in humility, we are usable in his kingdom.
