Christmas Advent: Jesus, ComeNäide

King of the Nations, Come
For centuries, people have wondered what heaven will be like. The Bible offers us glimpses of its beauty and glory, but the most compelling vision is the reunion with Jesus—the King of the Nations. His return will be a joy like no other, an eternal moment where we are united with our Saviour forever.
In Ezekiel 36, we see the story of Israel’s brokenness and exile, a reflection of humanity’s need for redemption. Despite Israel’s failure, God promised to send a Saviour. Isaiah’s prophecy pointed to a King who would bring peace to all nations. In Luke 4:16–21, Jesus declared that He was the fulfilment of this prophecy, bringing good news to the poor and freedom to the oppressed.
As we look forward to Jesus’ return, we share in the hope of the King who will restore all things. Revelation promises that one day, all will be united in Christ, and His Kingdom will reign forever. Until that day, we hold fast to the promise of His coming. Our King is coming, and with Him, He brings peace, joy, and eternal life.
This Advent, let us rejoice in the hope that our Saviour will return to make all things new. We eagerly anticipate the day when we will be face-to-face with our King.
