DAY NINE ~ The Mind of Christ

Ephesians 6:17 “...Put on salvation as your helmet …”

Spiritual battles take place in the mind. Lies, discouragement, accusations, and feelings of unworthiness, are all evidence that the enemy is attempting to camp out in your thoughts. Putting on Salvation as your helmet is a call to evict him regularly. Remember that you have received Salvation, which includes healing and freedom, from the only One who can give it.

In the first chapter of Ephesians, we learn, "God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure…" (Ephesians 1:5). This is how we put on the Helmet of Salvation, through remembering and declaring the Truth about our status as God's Children.

Father, I thank You that You chose me to bless me. I know my mind is being renewed daily as I meditate on Your Word. Thank You for saving me and for all the benefits of being Your Child.
