The sun and stars are Your workmanship, O Lord;

the skies above are a canvas of Your magnitude.

With a word,

the heavens pour out rain,

giving life to all.

In a moment, the rain stops,

and the sun shines again.

The land trembles at the thunder,

which roars down on the earth.

The lightning illuminates all that we see,

and in a moment, it disappears at Your command.

You are the God of the universe.

The galaxies and planets within reveal an endless glimpse into Your handiwork.

You are God of all.

Praise His name, O earth,

shout at His magnificent wonder.

Fear the Lord our God,

tremble at His mighty power.

For in the same moment that He wipes away,

He restores again those who are righteous.

I lift up my voice,

I have nothing else to give

but a humble heart and a broken spirit.

Restore my soul, O God,

look on me with kindness.

Give me victory,

rescue me from death.

I will praise Your name forever.
