What Jesus Said About Money and ProvisionNäide

Meditate on the Following Words of Jesus and Paul About Money
The following two Scripture passages are challenging. Take time to study them carefully. It will set you free from the cares of life.
Read the following two passages:
1 Timothy 6:6-10: Of course, godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, so we cannot carry anything out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these. Those who want to be rich, however, fall into temptation and become ensnared by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. By craving it, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.
Mark 4:19: Others are like the seeds sown among the thorns. They hear the word, but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth, and the desire for other things come in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
Two questions:
1. How do these two passages overlap?
2. Why did God think these two passages should be in the Bible? What do you think?
Obedience: What changes are necessary in your life? What action steps are you going to take?
