What the New Testament Says About Who I AmNäide

Who am I? Needy for an All-Knowing God:
Sometimes I feel like I’m falling Sometimes I feel like I’m falling way down Up in the middle of a cloud
30k above with life pushing me down
I PENNED THOSE LYRICS while I was writing the song “Soon Come, Weather Man” by Prisims. I was in a sea of life’s storms, and I felt like I was alone and drowning in the circumstances around me. Do you ever feel like life is out of control? Like you are being pulled under by waves of chaos and uncertainty? Our lives are full of what can feel like chaotic waves. As much as we want to control life, life often feels out of control.
What we need is someone who knows everything about us and cares deeply for us and our real circumstances—someone we can trust to navigate as we go through the unknowns of life. God knows each of us down to the last hair on our head (Matthew 10:30). Along with having that knowledge of us, He also knows that we need Him.
The problem is that we often consistently think and act like we don’t need Him. But let’s be real. Which one of us can make sense of life’s chaos independent of God’s help? We all are needy. And God is the all-knowing, all-caring one we desperately need.
