Next Steps in Following JesusNäide

WHAT DOES GOD WANT FOR ME?
You've heard it said, "Don't do that...don't say that...don't look at that." Normally, you might hear this in the context of parents coaching you. Other times, these phrases echo in your mind when you think of Christians. It may seem like being a Christian, or following Jesus, is a list of do's and don'ts.
Without a relationship with Jesus, it can feel that way. But with any healthy relationship, there are things you do and don't do. Did you know God wants more for you? Yes, that's true. That entails laying something down you are holding tightly. It could be a belief, relationship, mindset, or behavior.
God wants your heart more than anything. He is a jealous God. He is jealous for your attention - the difference is, he isn't profiting from your attention; you're profiting peace from God when you give him your heart. How do you give God your heart? Why does he want it? Let's look to the Bible to see!
CLOSING QUESTION: WHAT AREA OF YOUR LIFE HAVE YOU NOT FULLY SURRENDERED TO GOD?
