A Glimpse of Infinity (Deep Space Edition) - 7 Days of Photography & PrayersSample
Established
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Almighty God, You have established Your throne in heaven, and Your kingdom rules over all (Psalm 103:19). It does not consist in talk but of power (1 Corinthians 4:20).
Please help us through Your Spirit to do Your will and pray accordingly. It’s far too easy to continually pray for things that would make our lives easier, but Lord, we ask that You direct our hearts to pray for the things that matter to You. May each of us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer You acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for You are a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:28-29).
ONE QUESTION
Are my prayers primarily focused on personal comfort and ease, or am I interceding for matters that align with God's will and purposes?
ABOUT THIS PHOTO
- Located in the Gemini Constellation, IC 443 (also known as the Jellyfish Nebula) can be found 4,892 light years from Earth.
To capture this image, I used the FSQ-106 530mm f/5 telescope, the Paramount MyT (to follow the earth's rotation), and the QSI 683wsg-8 (8300) camera. To render all the data, I photo-stacked 49 x 1,800 second exposures together for a total of 24.5 hours of data.
