It's PersonalSample
Do you ever feel like when you are praying you are bothering God? Do you find yourself thinking, “Does God even care about this?” This verse from Jeremiah is saying the exact opposite. God’s offering us an invitation. God wants to hear from us, for us to call to God. And when we do? God answers.
We don’t know how God decides to answer, but we do have a promise that God does answer. God answers with “great and unsearchable things you do not know” this verse says. But something we can be sure of in God’s response is God’s presence. That is a guarantee. Call out to God, and no matter how God answers, God is present with us in the midst of it. That’s a promise.
Next time you find yourself wondering what God thinks about you and whether God even cares to hear from you or is bothered by all you bring to pray about, remember this verse. God’s inviting you into conversation. And God is always present in the midst of it.

About this Plan
Everyone is different, yet we all share a common quality. Deep down, we were created to be deeply known by others and by God. We were made to experience relationships with others and a relationship with God that’s personal. Because when it’s personal, it changes things. Things matter more. People matter more. Over the next few weeks, we will discover a personal God and what that means for us.
