🌟12 Gifts of Christmas🎄✨🎁Sample
Welcome to day two of the 12 Gifts of Christmas! I'm thrilled to continue this journey with you, and today, we're unwrapping the second gift. What's inside? Let's find out.
The second gift of Christmas is the gift of favor. Now, what does it mean to have favor? Let's turn to Luke chapter 1:28, where the angel visits Mary and says, "Rejoice, highly favored one. The Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women." Mary, a recipient of favor, exemplifies what it means to receive God's blessing through grace, a blessing she doesn't deserve.
- Favor is God's unmerited grace upon your life—something you don't earn or deserve.
Reflecting on this Scripture, we see how the angel Gabriel singles out Mary for a special announcement. She is chosen to be the vessel through which the Son of God will come.
Today, I have a breaking announcement for you: If you are in Christ, you are favored. Ephesians 1:3 declares, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ."
- Just as Mary received favor, if you're in Christ, you have God's special blessing—a divine treatment not because you deserve it, but because you are favored out of God's abundant grace.
The second gift of Christmas is embracing and receiving the favor of God. It's a profound concept—receiving something you didn't earn. How do you receive it? By walking with God. It's a relational thing. The more you walk with God, the more favor you experience.
Today's Prayer: Father, thank you for the gift of favor. As I grow in my relationship with the You, help my favor to increase. In Jesus' name, amen.
May the favor of God surround you, enriching your life as you continue to walk hand in hand with Him.
