Five Benefits of Spiritual GrowthNäide

Day 5 – You’ll increase in grace
What is grace? It’s the divine influence upon the heart and its reflection in life. When Jesus grew spiritually, the Bible says, “... and the grace of God was upon Him” (Luke 2:52). That means the Father’s influence on Jesus’ heart was so evident that He (Jesus) lived just as the Father would have lived if He was the One to come to the Earth. For it’s written that Jesus is the express image of the person of the Father (see 2 Corinthians 1:3).
Beloved, this same result Jesus had on His life for growing spiritually still works. As you spend time in God’s presence and constantly receive spiritual nourishment, His influence increasingly becomes stronger in your heart. And since heart influence has a direct effect on each person’s way of life, you’ll be transformed to become and live more and more like Jesus in your walk of faith right here on this earth.
Remember that God desires that all men will come to the knowledge of the truth (see 1 Timothy 2:4). Therefore, see it as a privilege to grow spiritually for His influence upon your life to increase. You’ll shine brighter for Jesus in this chaotic world.
