Now What? | Exploring Real Stories of People Who Were Scared, Stuck, and UncertainNäide

Day 1: When You Don't Know What to Do
Have you ever felt at a loss? Unable to see a clear path forward? Maybe you have decisions to make about your job, or where to attend college – or even if you should attend college. Maybe it’s a relationship that is causing you to feel overwhelmed and worried. There are a million and one things that can cause us to throw up our hands and say, “I don’t know what to do!”
All of the Bible is inspired by God. God used men to write it, but they are His words, His thoughts, His plan to restore each person to relationship with Him through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on our behalf. The Bible contains eternal wisdom, not the ever-changing wisdom of the world that offers us quick fixes and “5 easy steps to happiness.”
Proverbs is a collection of wise sayings from the wisest man that ever lived: King Solomon. God told Solomon that God would give him anything he asked, and Solomon asked for wisdom. The book of Proverbs begins by telling the reader exactly what he or she will find in the book: wisdom.
Believing in God through Jesus Christ takes care of our eternal life. But we still need wisdom for the day-to-day. God wants to share His perfect wisdom with you. If you’re looking for wisdom today, will you turn to God’s word and look in the right place?
Prayer: God, right now I am overwhelmed and I don’t know what to do. I need Your wisdom. I know You love me and want the best for my life. I trust You. Please show me the next step to take. Whatever that next step is, I want it to show the world Your love and grace. Amen.
