Have you ever seen one of those videos on social media where the professional racecar driver shows up at a car dealership for a test drive?
Some award-winning championship driver shows up in disguise to test drive a sports car with a hidden camera. The unsuspecting salesperson from the dealership is excited to potentially make a sale, gets in the car, and has no idea that an adrenaline rush is around the corner.
Without warning, the undercover racecar driver takes off from the dealership in the sports car. The tires are screeching, skid marks are left on the pavement, and the salesperson in the passenger seat is completely freaking out, yelling, "Stop, stop!"
On the flip side, there are times when we wish time would stand still. When we are on vacation, we don't want to hop on a plane and head back to reality. For some of us, we want time to stand still when we're out on that first date with a person we really like. Regardless of the event itself, there are times when life is so enjoyable that we just don't want it to end.
Our brains are hard-wired to anticipate the eventual ending of something. However, not everything ends . . .
Today's verses remind us that not only is God's love for us unending, but there is nothing that can come between us and God's love. There is no end, and there are no barriers. Nothing can stop God's love for us.

About this Plan
For the next four weeks, we’ll look at how the earliest followers of Jesus created a new kind of community as God's family. Through their example, we’ll learn that there is enough when we share what we have — and if there isn’t enough, God provides. We'll also learn that our actions can speak when words aren’t enough and that God’s love is always enough.
