Becoming a Son That Pleases the FatherSample
THE FATHER WILL SHOW UP FOR YOU
You might have experienced angelic interventions in your life that got you excited, but do you know that the Father Himself will show up for you if you please Him?
Exodus 14:13-14
13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever.
14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
When an angel goes with you, you will have victory in the midst of battles, but when the Father goes with you, the battle was over before it even started. In Exodus 33:14, God said to Moses, “My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” God gave Solomon rest on all sides such that there was neither adversity nor evil occurrent (1 Kin. 5:4). Which do you prefer - victory or rest? Let me tell you the difference. When God deploys his angels to help you achieve victory, the enemy has not retired but has only surrendered; so, the battle may still resurface. However, when God gives you rest, He ends all battles. Either He completely destroys the enemy or makes the enemy your friend. You will have rest on every side when you walk the way you should walk with God.
In the scriptures above, Moses told the children of Israel to stand still because the battle was the Lord’s and not theirs. When a man pleases God by giving up ownership of his life and allowing Him to do with it as He wills, He takes over that man’s battles. It is time for you to step up to a higher level in your walk with God by pleasing Him. Don’t just get excited when you see God moving through your pastor or see demons being cast out of people. Your prophetic destiny is waiting for manifestation with a demonstration of the Father’s presence in your life.
PRAYER: Father, I will please You, have Your presence go along with me everywhere, and I will enjoy Your rest in Jesus’ name. Amen!
