Surrendered

In December of 2014, my wife and I lost our baby boy, Jethro Dylan Quilala. After this loss, even in our hurt and confusion, we chose to believe that God is good and He is our healer. He is the God who raises the dead. Even though we didn't see that happen, we decided we were going to worship. We will continue to surrender our hearts to those things that we've proclaimed all our lives; that God is good, that He's our healer, and that He's faithful.

The pain we all experience in this life can become unbearable. When we surrender to Him, we are surrounded by His love and strength. God is all we need. He inspires a desire in us to lay our lives before Him and give Him everything we have. If you are feeling weak, weighed down, or depleted, lay everything down at God’s feet and allow Him to fill you with joy.

Job 11:13 and 15 says, “Surrender your heart to God, turn to him in prayer, 15 Then you won’t be ashamed; you will be confident and fearless.”
