God Values and Wants To Use You!

Jesus uses ordinary people to turn obstacles into opportunities!

When I was a little girl, I was constantly told that I “would never amount to anything.” These words left me with inner feelings that limited my belief in myself and others. For such a long time, I wrestled with low self-esteem, rejection, and being undervalued. I doubted whether I could do anything for God. I realized that wasn't true when I became an adult and developed a relationship with the Lord. God can use anyone, including me!

What about you? Have you considered the possibilities that might emerge if you sincerely asked God, what would You like to do with me today, tomorrow, or next year? Whatever His response, remember Paul’s affirmation in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Whatever God asks you to do is possible with Christ’s help. He calls and uses ordinary people just like you and me to achieve what may seem impossible.

I am excited about the underlying potential of what God can do with us; what about you? This devotional is merely the tip of an iceberg in revealing what God can and will do with us. We will take the challenge to see what He can do with us by examining the life of one real ordinary woman.

The Bible contains examples that reveal what God can do with ordinary people, such as Mary of Bethany. Mary overcame obstacles of public and private criticism, rejection, death, and grief to complete her assignment for Jesus. Her humble and obedient Spirit was exemplary. She was valued and used by God miraculously. Now, it’s your time! Will you say ‘yes’ to God’s desire to use you for His glory?

God sees you! YOU are good enough to be used by God. Now, let’s get started!
