Keys to Building a Blessed BusinessSample
Building a business that is blessed by the Lord requires more from us than knowing the things that are written in business books. It requires us to consider other unquantifiable factors, such as the divine help from the Lord, Himself.
As a business owner, I can confirm with 100% certainty that you will feel anxious at times. You will grow frustrated during certain seasons of your entrepreneurial career. Whenever you feel anxious or overwhelmed with what is happening within your plans, it is vital that you go back to the Lord, as He strengthens anyone who seeks out His name.
Throughout this plan, we will go over four separate focus keys and prayers that are necessary in order to grow your business with God at the forefront.
1. Blessing
Jeremiah 29:11 tells us of God’s plan to provide us with a prosperous, hopeful life. It explains to us that God does not seek to harm us but instead to uplift us throughout the journey of our lives. For some reason, however, we don’t consider this verse when going about our careers. We view our personal lives and professional lives as separate, yet we’re the ones living both! The Word of God is applicable in every scenario that you will find yourself in, and the workplace is no exception. Just as we rely on scripture during our personal lives, we must also rely on it during business hours.
Because God considers both our personal as well as professional lives. He wants us to live a blessed and pure life within both, and provides us with the tools to do so.
Say this prayer with me:
Bless my workplace.
I declare success in business today. Let my business be of great service to others, flourishing through decency, honesty, and respect for my colleagues and customers.
May I be strong and courageous, making wise decisions guided by the Holy Spirit, and not terrified or discouraged.
Grant me wisdom and calmness so that I can rightly access every situation and bring peace and productivity to the work environment.
Bless my team, so that they may work on your behalf in order to accomplish what we have set out to accomplish, and what you have provided us with the ability to accomplish.
Amen.
