Believe Bigger

Dear Jesus,

When I imagine you or think about talking with you, I believe you can do anything. I believe you can shape me, change me, and open my eyes to understand more than I’ve ever thought possible. Like the blind men in the verse, I want to say yes to you.

So, why do I sometimes stop believing you can handle my struggles, like finances or relationships? What causes me to imagine everything is on my shoulders or that I must find solutions all on my own? My limited faith and my own blindness affect my ability to believe you can accomplish bigger things.

Help all believers to go beyond what we imagine we can see and to look to you for greater possibilities, for things that could never happen without you. Remove the scales from our eyes that keep us from seeing all you can do. Help us trust you for every detail of our lives. Amen.
