Hebrews: Inspiration for the Journey P2Näide

Each of the elements in the rooms in the Tabernacle speaks to pieces of the gospel. We will look at three of these over the next three days and ponder their meaning in our own lives.
The bronze basin greeted people as they entered the Tabernacle. It was a place of cleansing after they participated in the bloody sacrifice. It was made from the mirrors of the women. In addition to cleansing, it offered those washing a reflection of themselves.
Spend some time thanking the Father for His gift of forgiveness and cleansing of your sins. Be as specific as you are led to.
Imagine yourself gazing into those mirrors at the bottom of the basin. As you see your reflection, what is the Holy Spirit speaking over you? How does He see you?

About this Plan

In this second portion of our study of the book of Hebrews, we will continue to explore this beautifully written and life-challenging letter. We live in 'the time in between the times'. Jesus has come once and will come again. But until then, we wait. That waiting often needs inspiration. Hebrews offers that encouragement. Through verbal pictures of a heavenly tabernacle, to stories of real lives found in scripture, Hebrews spurs us on. Let's allow these final chapters to spur us on!
