Strangers on Planet Earth
I am so thankful to God that, through a relationship with His Son Jesus, He has caused me and many others who have chosen to make Him the Lord and Savior of our lives, to cross over from darkness and enter into His marvelous light.
When we come before the Lord in prayer and total surrender, He comforts, corrects, transforms us and leads us into paths of righteousness. We live in a sin-filled world, where we struggle to do what is right and pleasing to the Lord. At such moments, it is worthwhile to remember that we are strangers in this world and our citizenship is in heaven.
The earth we live in is only a transit point and the body, our earthly suit, will soon fade away and our spirit will enter into a new realm, where we will enjoy the presence of the Lord forever. Thus, we ought to live our lives as strangers on this earth and abstain from the sinful desires that war against our soul. When we cultivate a mindset of being strangers on planet earth and choose to love people, despite all the opposition and hurts we have experienced in our lifetime, we bring heaven on earth.
May we learn to overcome our sinful habits and love and accept our near and dear ones with a non-judgmental attitude. May we never conform to the ways of this world. In doing so, we not only magnify God but cause those around us to experience His awesome presence.
Prayer
Lord, help us to live our lives as strangers on the earth, so that Your glory will be revealed and Your name be magnified in all the earth. Amen.

It is our prayer that it will reveal to those who don’t know Jesus Christ, that there is a Creator and Maker of this universe, the only loving and powerful God who longs for a personal relationship with every human being.
