DAY 282 OF 366

Don’t Miss the Move

During the journey of the Israelites from Egypt to Canaan, while in the wilderness, the motion of the cloud was a sign to go forward and continue their journey. When it rested and remained over the tabernacle, they too stopped and rested (Exodus 40:36). Similarly, we, His saints, are to follow God wherever He directs, and follow the Spirit’s leading. It is good to move when God moves. Whenever the cloud moved and the people followed, they were moving closer to the promised land. When we move with God, we always walk the higher ground and walk closer to our promised land.
Sometimes, we may miss this move. In those days, when the cloud rested on the tabernacle and God’s glory filled it, Moses could not enter the tabernacle. But today, because of Jesus, as we draw near to Him, He draws near to us. Thus it is easy for us to move when He moves. In the early church, it was a normal routine for Peter and John to go to the temple. On one such visit, they met a lame beggar (Acts 3:1-10). They were sensitive to the move of the Holy Spirit and the beggar ceased to remain a beggar, having received his healing. With a pair of strong legs, he could now earn his daily bread. In Acts 16:26, Paul and Silas waited with expectancy in their hearts, eager to exercise their faith, when suddenly, God moved and broke their chains and set them free.
Finally, James 2:26 says, that faith without works is dead. When we move with God as He moves, we display faith and God leads us towards the results.

Declaration
I don’t want to miss the move of God. So I choose to trust in Him with all my heart, draw near to Him, wait on Him and follow Him wherever He takes me.

About this Plan

Precious Moments That Count For Eternity

It is our prayer that it will reveal to those who don’t know Jesus Christ, that there is a Creator and Maker of this universe, the only loving and powerful God who longs for a personal relationship with every human being. We pray that these daily readings will remind us all of the great hope and abundant joy in knowing Jesus Christ, through whom we have eternal life!
