What Good Can Come from Bad Times?
- STEP 1: Watch the Video
- STEP 2: Complete the Assignments
Today's Assignments
1. Remember the three-question approach to Bible study:
• What does it say? OBSERVATION
• What does it mean? INTERPRETATION
• What does it mean to me? APPLICATION
2. Read through James 1 quickly. Then reread James 1:2-4. Think about what it says.
2 Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
3. What are the two commands in this passage?
4. What does this passage say are the two results of having the right attitude? (See James 1:3 and 1:4.)
5. Pray and ask God to help you strengthen this attitude today.
