Walk Through The Bible 365 - SeptemberSample
Are You All Three?
The reader may find today’s passage in Revelation troubling, confusing, and mysterious. Who are the woman and the beast? What are the seven heads, kings, and hills? What is going on here?
Then we read the angel who is revealing this prophecy to John says, “Why are you astonished?” Then the angel says, “This calls for a mind with wisdom.” Please, give me a break! Alas, we find a powerful nugget of Truth – where the faithful followers of Jesus will be! With Him! Notice the sequence – called, then chosen, and finally faithful followers.
Take a moment now and meditate on your relationship with the Lord of lords and King of kings. Are you all three?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, this is way too much for me to understand what will happen in the future, but I am very thankful that you have called me out of darkness and into your marvelous light. You have chosen me to serve you and filled me with your Holy Spirit. Now, Lord, help me to be faithful all my days and may my love for you never diminish. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
