[From Heaven to the Hay in the Heart] Part 2Sample
The Doors of Heaven Opened Up For You
It does not matter what kind of life you have lived. Jesus came to give us life. He did not come to judge how worthy we are. Did you know that Romans 5 says that we have been justified by faith and therefore have peace with God? The word justify can be translated as approved. You have been approved by God if you have faith in Jesus Christ.
God decided to approve you based on what you believe and not on what you have done. Being approved by God is the greatest thing that can happen to anyone, because the approval of God is what opens the door of heaven.
Do you want to be approved and have the doors of heaven be opened for you? Put all your faith and trust in the Christmas gift of righteousness granted through God’s Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Do you know what the greatest mystery is, one that had been hidden from times of old? The mystery is: Christ in us, the hope of glory! Before Jesus was born, God anointed priests and kings so they could hear or receive His oracles. After Jesus was born, God opened heaven so that we could be filled with the Holy Spirit, and so that His presence could dwell inside us. The mystery lies in the word “in.” Christ came to dwell within our hearts and this brought a radical change to the believer. Before Christ, people did not have that privilege. Yes, prophets like Moses saw God and His glory, but it was not until Christ came that He could dwell in each heart and become their glory!
Listen to the words that Mary sang when she received the news of what God would do at Christmas: “My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant” (Luke 1:46–48). Humble yourself. Enter through the narrow gate. Trust in Jesus. Receive Him who is “the hope of glory” and rejoice in the salvation God has provided for us in Christ.

About this Plan
The Gospel of Luke tells us that some shepherds were guarding their flocks at night when an angel of the Lord appeared unto them, and the Lord’s glory shone upon them. After the angel spoke to them, a great assembly of heavenly hosts praised God along with him. What a vision, what a tremendous glimpse of heavenly apparitions and glory!
