Our God Is ____ ?Näide

OUR GOD IS LIGHT
For a few years now I’ve become obsessed with morning light. It’s what gets me out the door on cold, dark mornings because the sun never fails to rise, to flood the world with a dawning new day, to surprise me with a streak of orange, or a sudden birdsong.
As people of faith, we get the choice to walk and rest in the promise of Christ’s risen light across the earth or to linger in darkness. Darkness is all the things that are not found in Christ. What we find in Christ is abundant promises and declarations of life, love, peace, and God’s continual presence.
Everyday we wake in light. Every day we can choose to wake in the truth of Christ’s risen life. Today, despite the darkness that seems to sneakily creep into our minds and homes right now, push back with the truth of Christ’s risen light. He is with us and His light is always greater, stronger, more magnificent than the present darkness.
Reflection
Pause today and watch how the light overcomes darkness in our homes or environments simply with the flick of switch, or the moving of the sun. Declare His light through the blood of Jesus into any dark situation that is messing with your lifetoday. God is our light and our salvation.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, I declare your light into the dark places of my life today. In faith I believe your light is greater than darkness and we overcome it by the power of your blood.
