When Jesus died, rose, and ascended to heaven, He promised He would send His Holy Spirit to live inside His people. The Spirit of God would dwell within His people and produce Christlike character. We are one with the Lord because we are created in His image.   

Psalm 22:3 says that God inhabits the praises of His people. How does God inhabit the praises of His people? By abiding in us. God created us to live in relationship with Him, and the only way to do that is by abiding in Him. Scripture tells us that apart from Him, we can do nothing.  How incredible is it that we are invited to abide in God! We are living and moving to worship His name. Rhythm With You is a celebration of this very thing — that the gift of His Spirit is alive in us.  

Our prayer is that you would be reminded that God lives and dwells within you — within us. In everything and anything we do, we must give Him our highest praises because He is worthy of it.    

PRAYER 

Heavenly Father, draw me closer and nearer to You. Teach me how to abide in You and to live each day in communion with You. Thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit to dwell among us. Thank You for being faithful to Your promises and for your great sacrifice. In Jesus’ name, amen.
