The Other Five Prayer JourneySample
DAY EIGHT
Matthew 24:14: And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations.
There are 65 Saramaccan villages along the Surinam River that are deep within the interior of Suriname. Theirs is an Animistic culture centered on the worship of demons. Only a few of these villages have churches.
Their ancestors were Africans brought to South America to work on the plantations as slave labor. Many of them escaped the plantations and went deep into the jungle and established Animist villages. This primitive culture has remained intact for over 300 years.
Only prayer can change this reality. Please pray for demonic strongholds to be broken in the villages, especially Tumalipa where a church is being constructed. Pray that the church building will be finished and a strong church will be established. Pray that it will become a training center to send out workers to the other villages. Pray that the Saramaccan people that have left the jungle and moved near the capital city will become Christians and will have a passion to take the gospel back to their people in the Saramaccan villages.

Prayer: Lord we ask you to answer our prayers for a breakthrough by establishing Your church among all of the unreached throughout all of Latin America and the Caribbean. Let strongholds be broken, churches be established, workers be trained, and the Gospel be proclaimed. Open doors and open hearts to receive and open ears to hear for the very first time the Good News of Jesus and His salvation for those who do not yet know Him. Amen.

About this Plan
The Other Five are the 5 out of 6 people in Latin America Caribbean that are not yet disciples of Jesus. The soul care decisions regarding them should be guided by the Lord of the Harvest, the One that truly cares most for every soul. The One that cares most should be foremost in determining where the focus should be directed as we PRAY, GO, AND GIVE.
