The Other Five Prayer JourneySample
DAY TWENTY
Acts 1:8 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
REACH THE ONE TO REACH THE OTHER FIVE
My first experience with the great commission was when someone came to our front door when I was just a little girl to tell my family about Jesus. Unfortunately, my broken home rejected the invitation to know our Savior that day. Thankfully, a few years later the Lord “sent” a spirit-filled woman who refused to take no for an answer. The ripple effect of her obedience led to the salvation of nearly my entire family and a future calling on my life to missions.
Eduardo, Rodrigo, Patricia, Julio, and Rosita are just a few names of individuals creating a ripple effect here in Ecuador. However, there are still countless names that represent THE OTHER FIVE. There are thousands of people living in remote places and broken homes that have yet to hear the Good News. Jima is one of those places. For years the Jimans have rejected the gospel, been plagued by suicide, and have even expressed that there is no hope beyond their mountains.
A local pastor and his family have refused to take no for an answer. Maruja, Theresa, Pablo, and Maria are names of Jimans that now know Jesus and will become the newest members of the very first evangelical church plant in Jima. We are partnering with them to bring hope and to help “reach the one, to reach the other five.” Will you partner with us in prayer?

Prayer: Jesus You see the one, and the five. Today, we plead for both. Raise up and send new workers to the unreached places of Ecuador. Pour out your spirit among the Jimans. Restore their brokenness and bring a new hope that stretches beyond their mountains and into their hearts. Strengthen the local pastors and workers to continue planting your church across this great nation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

About this Plan
The Other Five are the 5 out of 6 people in Latin America Caribbean that are not yet disciples of Jesus. The soul care decisions regarding them should be guided by the Lord of the Harvest, the One that truly cares most for every soul. The One that cares most should be foremost in determining where the focus should be directed as we PRAY, GO, AND GIVE.
