Good News is Meant to Be Shared
Isaiah 52:7a
How beautiful is the person who comes over the mountains to bring good news. How beautiful is the one who announces peace.
Normally, the first reaction of someone who receives good news is to tell it to his or her family or closest friends so that they can share the joy!
In Isaiah 52, God was reminding His people that they were once slaves in Egypt, and they were once defeated by the Assyrians and held captive by the Babylonians for many years. God reminded them that during those hard times, it was HE who delivered and set them free.
In those times of distress, God revealed His power and might. The people who saw and witnessed these things would share this good news to others and to their next generation.
It is a beautiful thing when we can tell others about Jesus. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. That’s such good news! The world desperately needs this good news and we have it inside of us. Spread this news to the people around us so that they can feel the peace of God just like you do. Good news is meant to be shared, isn't it?
Prayer
Dear God, thank You for the peace in my heart. May I have the wisdom to show and share to others about Your peace. Amen.
