The Might of Perspective

Perspective is one of the greatest gifts from God. The wealth of a believer is not found in possessions but in the clarity on his/her perspective. Strength is revealed in perspective. Man can persevere due to perspective. Perspective can give you victory or loss. 

Elisha and Gehazi faced a similar problem. They had two different perspectives. Gehazi saw his enemy through physical eyes, but Elisha saw in his spirit and brought news of victory over his enemy. One can see only to get discouraged while another gets encouraged. It is true, as a believer we encounter many obstacles in life. 

Obstacles for a believer are opportunities for God’s glory to be revealed through us not a cause for our failure. God is greater than our obstacles and He is in us. One can see the glass half empty and get discouraged while another can see the glass half full and get encouraged. That is why we need to enlighten our vision by dipping ourselves into the word of God.

 Life Application

You can bring what is inside of you towards its destiny by setting your perspective. You can get your peace and rest in your perspective, not in circumstances. Thus, it is your choice to act like Elisha, see the hands of God over your circumstances and declare victory.

 Prayer

Dear God, help us see Your glory, let us not be carried away in our situations. Open our eyes of understanding in Jesus name. Amen!
