WILLING HEART

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1: 7)

Jesus Christ is the perfect example for us to learn about willingness. He who reigns in the highest place of heaven was willing to come to this world and willing to be just like us. He willingly became human only to be rejected, humiliated, punished, and then willingly died for all the sins of mankind because of His love for us. 

The willingness that Jesus displayed is an attitude of humility. As followers of Christ, we must follow Christ's example. 

Paul writes to Timothy that a believer, a disciple of Christ, will grow faith in Christ by going through challenges. Our faith will grow when we enter into the process, even in the form of persecution in all its ways. 

The moment persecution comes we should not retreat, because through the process we will find God's blessing. Through all life's challenges the hand of God, our good shepherd, guides us and leads us to victory.

Our faith will grow as we enter into the process and the hand of God will guide and give us victory.
