A Merry Heart
Proverbs 15:15b
But he who is of a merry heart has a continual feast.
Your attitude is far more important than the circumstances around you. You may see some people who seem lacking in life but still look so happy while others who are very rich live miserably. It proves that being happy and joyful does not depend on the circumstances or how much money you have, it is about your heart and choice.
The Bible says that it is God’s desire for you and me to have a merry heart so that we can have a continual feast. Having a continual feast means enjoying your life. When you have a merry heart and gladness, regardless of your situations and circumstances, you will still enjoy your life!
This does not change the fact that we all go through the ups and downs in life. But God has promised that He would give us the ability to overcome everything that comes into our lives. We can choose to have a merry heart in every circumstance.
We will always have a merry heart when we obey God’s word and live within God’s will. Trust Christ and have a merry heart all the time.
Prayer
Dear God, I count my blessings and my heart is full of thankfulness. Let my merry heart overcome the difficulties that I am facing right now. Amen.
