TO BE LIKE JESUS CHRIST 

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

As believers, we must realize the purpose for which God called and chose us. It is the same reason why God chose the people of Israel among the nations: to do His commandments and reveal the Lord to the world. 

God came into the world to redeem us through Jesus Christ. God introduced Himself to us by giving us His Spirit and we can know God more deeply because of the Spirit that fills us. The Holy Spirit gives us the wisdom to understand God's words or commands and enables us to do His Word. The Holy Spirit leads us to the truth.

If our lives are filled and led by His Spirit, then our character and behavior will be like Christ, because Jesus was also led by the Holy Spirit when He became a man. Being one with the Holy Spirit is a natural outpouring of being with and remaining in His presence.

Jesus once said that He will send His Spirit to fill the believers and that His Spirit will give help and peace to our lives. We should always ask God to fill us with His Spirit and soften our hearts so that our hearts can obey His Spirit. 

God is with us through His Spirit. Even when we are in a dark valley or in difficult times, we have to keep believing that God is Immanuel (God with us). When we pray, He is there with us. He guides us to do works that glorify His name so that many people will believe in Jesus because of our faith.

Walk with the Lord in the leading of His Spirit.
