Holy 90 (The Four Gospels)Näide

What we read this week:
Luke 5: The disciples, cleansing of a man, and fasting
Luke 6: Jesus heals on the sabbath, chooses twelve apostles, and says to love your enemies
Luke 7: A woman washes Jesus’ feet with her tears
Luke 8: Women support Christ’s work, the Parable of the Sower, the calming of a storm, and Jairus’ daughter
Luke 9: The feeding of the 5,000 and the transfiguration
Luke 10: Sends the seventy-two and the Good Samaritan
Luke 11: The Lord’s Prayer and the sign of Jonah
Notable verse: Luke 8:25 — “He said to them, ‘where is your faith?’ They were fearful and amazed, asking one another, ‘Who then is this? He commands even the winds and the waves, and they obey him!’”
Encouragement for you: The winds and waves obey our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. What an encouragement for us as believers as we endure trials and hardship. We can trust our sovereign God is in control.
Something for you to consider from the reading: Why does the woman wash Jesus’s feet?
