Holy 90 (The Four Gospels)Näide

What we read this week:
Mark 7: The Pharisees and tradition and the healing of a deaf man
Mark 8: Jesus feeds 4,000 people and a blind man
Mark 9: The Transfiguration and the disciples argue
Mark 10: Divorce, The Rich Young Ruler, and Bartimaeus
Mark 11: The Triumphal Entry and the authority of Jesus
Mark 12: Questions about the Law and the Messiah
Mark 13: Signs of the End of the Age, the temple, and persecution
Notable verse: Mark 9:35 — “Sitting down, he called the Twelve and said to them, “if anyone wants to be first, he must be last and servant of all.”
Encouragement for you: Christians will be persecuted. Our scripture reading this week predicts persecution for His people, however, we can take great solace in the fact that God will be glorified and it will be for our good.
Something for you to consider from the reading: Why does wealth make it difficult to enter the Kingdom of God?
