Pushing With Perseverance to Purpose Sample
God’s Specific Purpose for Your Life
God made you. You! God made you on purpose, for a purpose. God has a plan for you, that only you can carry out.
Do. Not. Miss. It.
We live in a culture of comparison. It’s difficult for us to find our purpose when we’re so busy comparing ourselves to every post we see on social media. With a quick swipe on our phones we can see what our friends and family are doing and start comparing our life to their filtered images.
Here’s the kicker, we aren’t designed to be the same, we’re created uniquely different. It took me years to realize that my ability to ride a skateboard wasn’t just intended for me, but it is common ground for me to share the gospel with skateboarders.
We know God created us to love Him. We also read in the gospels that Jesus left us one final task in the Great Commission. He said to “Go and make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:19)
Your “Go!” probably looks way different than someone else’s. That’s okay!
You have a calling on your life. You don’t want to miss God’s specific calling because you’re too busy trying to replicate a filtered social media post of a stranger.
Focus:
Spend some time in prayer today asking for clarity on what your specific areas of giftedness are. Maybe that means you need to take a Meyers-Briggs test, a Strengths Finder test, or even an Enneagram test. Before you find what you’re called to, you need to spend time in prayer to find out who God says you are.

About this Plan
As a skateboarder, I’ve been pushing around on my skateboard for years. I’ve pushed through the streets of different cities, events, and even inside multiple churches! When I said yes to following Jesus, I started pushing toward my God given purpose. This bible plan is intended to help you learn to push with perseverance to your God given purpose.
